About Me

Hi. My name is Julia.

I have been doing yoga for over 20 years with teaching experience of more than 14. In the beginning, I was trained as a fitness yoga and Iyengar yoga instructor (2003) and during my years of practice I’ve become interested in different styles of yoga like Kundalini, Sun Power, Vinyasa and Bikram, etc.

A couple of years ago (2014), I came across BoxingYoga™ at the Annual London OM Yoga Show. I thoroughly enjoyed it and this summer (2016) I completed BoxingYoga™ coaching course in San Francisco.

I found BoxingYoga™ very helpful for my own practice and teaching my students who include tennis players, footballers, martial artists and athletes. Yoga has always helped me to go tough difficult times on a physical and psychological level. For example, in 1994, I had a sports injury and a broken spine as a result, then a few years later I was involved in a car accident and suffered brain concussion and whiplash, then several years after that I was in a second car accident and had whiplash again. All of this affected my personal and working life tremendously, but yoga has always helped me to stay strong, positive and just carry on practicing with faith and self belief, slowly progressing on the road to recovery.

So that’s why I find BoxingYoga™ so helpful because it strengthens your body and your soul, increases your willpower, teaches you to stay calm and focussed under pressure and to become a Warrior.

Wishing you all the best on your life journey and let the Power stay with you :)
